The 2,000-year-old Tamil Nadu shell game, played the real way — 14 cups, 7 a side, 4 shells in each. You versus Paatti. Good luck.
1Tap a cup on your side to scoop its shells into your hand. Then tap to drop them one-by-one into the holes, anticlockwise — or hold to pour. When your last shell lands and the next cup has shells, you scoop it and carry on.
2Pasu (நாலு): any cup your shell brings to exactly 4 is instantly yours. Capture: if the cup after your last shell is empty, you take everything in the cup beyond it and keep going. Two empty cups in a row ends your turn.
3When one side has no shells left to lift, the round ends and the other player sweeps every shell still on the board. Whoever has captured the most shells (of 56) wins. Pasu-at-4 is the key to a big score.
